# About

Before moving into web development, I tried a few other professions. But one way or another, my entire adult life has been connected to IT. At first, it was simple apps for myself. Then, real accounting software. Later came websites I built as a freelance developer. Over time, that path became a specialization: WordPress, built with care.

By the time I joined One-V in Israel in 2022 as a Senior Developer, I’d worked on a wide range of projects—from simple PHP applications to interactive WooCommerce stores with custom product designers.

Outside of client work, I’ve written around a dozen computer self-study books (in Russian) published by [Eksmo](https://eksmo.ru/authors/makarskiy-dmitriy-dmitrievich-ITD19300/books/), which, among other things, taught me that explaining things clearly is a skill of its own. I speak English and Polish at a working level, and Russian and Belarusian are my native languages. I’m open to remote collaboration worldwide.
